General information | Oxfordshire Marriage Index has Thomas and Martha as sojourners at the time of their marriage. Martha's father and siblings are born in Kirtlington. I believe this is Thomas the son of Edward & Catherine. They do have a son, Thomas born in 1760. And it would seem that all the Oxford based Shurrock's come from the children of Thomas & Martha. In 1830 Thomas and Martha sell 4 acres of land in Tackley, a village to the west of Kirtlington, land that had belonged to Martha's father Thomas Ball. One of the main roads from Tackley is still called Ball Lane.
